Veepee praises the can-do mentality of Brightest
Veepee is a private webshop that is the market leader in Belgium with 6 million products sold per year, and 400 employees. Along with business figures, the company's IT needs grew dramatically. Brightest assists Veepee in the area of testing.

The formula is a huge success. 3.6 million Belgians are members. From its inception in 2007, the company has been primus inter pares in Belgium. Since 2015, it has been part of the Paris-based Vente-Privée Group, a global player in online flash sales (72 million members). Within the group, Veepee is responsible for operations in Northern Europe. In recent years, the company has been awarded several times - BeCommerce coined it with the award for Best Belgian Web Store.
Needs that are constantly evolving
"You can imagine the IT needs of a company in our sector", says Davy Derwael, Lead IT North at Veepee. “Our IT department was growing explosively - obviously including the QA/Test part. We quickly realized that we needed outside help - and Brightest turned out to be the best, most reliable partner for us. Our IT needs are constantly evolving and sometimes at lightning speed. We cannot do without a quick supply of test engineers with the right qualities. Specialists whom we can call on immediately and who we don't have to train.”

On a regular basis, Brightest and Veepee put their heads together to brainstorm about the company's IT challenges. "Brightest thinks along with us about our needs and constructively suggests solutions", says Davy Derwael. "We are constantly in dialogue with each other in an open and positive way."
Davy Derwael is especially pleased with what he calls Brightest's can-do mentality. "That is completely in line with our own mentality", he says.
